In August we are celebrating Finnish work and craftsmanship. For over 80 years Kalevala Jewelry has been the guardian and dynamic developer of the finest traditions of Finnish jewelry making. Today Kalevala Jewelry is the biggest employer of goldsmiths in Finland. At our factory in Helsinki the noble art of jewelry making is passed on from experienced professionals to new generations. Petra in the picture represents the youngest generation of our goldsmiths. In the same way our timeless jewelry is passed on from mothers to daughters, from fathers to sons – many generations have worn the same Moon Goddess earrings and the Hattula Bird brooch Petra is wearing today.
